 Hey everybody. This will be a new topic to start some dating tips!! Want to get that girl? What are the steps to take to get them into a private IM conversation? I will be adding favorite hang out spots for those couples or potentials to go on dates!! I welcome anyone to give good tips. This will be an ongoing process. I have some spots bookmarked, so if you ever need to find a really good spot, IM me. I'll be in There!
And for all the girls out there who want to vent on the things that the boys should not do, post here too!

Well... I'm married, but having a great time in There just looking for newbies to help. I would suggest if you're looking for a serious virtual relationship - help as much and as often as you can. It's a great way to meet new people and you're sure to meet a mate eventually.
Be careful of a redhead in There named Mackie(my wife)! I was rolling this morning - apparently she met ZzuesS last night and she found a new way to make money. I think she made T$51 last night stripping for people. 
As far as romantic spots, I think it nice at some of the houses on Oolay (sp?) island. Be nice to get some furniture on the porch and chat...

If you plan on striking up a conversation, don't go straight for the naughty talk!!! Like in reality, start off as a friendship first. TIP for today: There girls like it when you compliment them on their clothes (sound famliar?) This is a real conversation starter. If you haven't noticed, lot of the women out there are designing their own clothes or buying them from the auctions. No more plain solid shirts that were first available in There. People's creativity are really flowing! SO.....compliment the shirt, the pants, whichever. Regardless, it starts up a good conversation. =)

Indeed it IS the month of february!! Hmmm...and Valentine's is coming up. Well, while most people can be bitter about the whole Valentine's thing, we should share the love. I'm talking about GIFT GIVING!!! Wish There had options like giving gifts like a rose (Like in SIMS). But in the meantime, we can still give gifts whether its clothing (find a cute shirt in an auction somewhere). Or perhaps take a girl out on a ride on the buggy and look at the starts. Yah I know, this is a load of CHHHHHEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEe. But gotta do what you gotta do. And the females, you can the same thing, or do what Mackie did (lol)....a striptease....or find a loveseat and give a kiss. 'close '''kiss !!!! LOL Anyhow, to the days leading up to Feb. 14th, we should share the love and get a little naughty!!

Note to guys trying to find girls in there: If you're flirting with a girl, and the flirting has been going on for a few days.. Don't tell her that you wish she was with you so you could *really* hold her. Just don't. I don't know if I'm the only one who gets creeped out of he says something like that in such a short period of time or not, but I find it creepy. Does anyone else? Or is it just me?

lol!! Yes...that's a no no. Mind you, us women can get flirtatious. I'll admit, we like the attention!! But Minai, I agree with you...that kind of stuf just makes us cringe. So to follow up on Minai's post...when the flirting is good...keep flirting for a while....longer while....how about more than a few days kind of while. Heh. I think we need to get more women in There!!!

I've been around the block a few times and I've stopped trying to 'get with' internet people a LONG time ago. Back in the BBS days I was getting pretty hot and heavy cybering with this hottie.. turns out it was her husband. Talk about a wake up call. Now I just take the good times for what they are and when the moment's gone, that's it - no more. If I see them again around Tiki or something - great. If not OFW. Ya just never know who you're -really- talking to.

That's a great point zzuess. You never know who's really there. What cracks me up is when I'm chatting with a new person and they get freaked out no matter what type of question you ask. I guess "Have you been online long?" sounds too much like "Do you come here often?" 
I have GOT to get our other PC fixed. The only computer time I have now is Monday and Tuesday - Mackie is being a There hog.

hehe how about don't get to crass to qwik - everyone loves a bit of naughty talk - but there are degrees and you need to be careful how far to take it. Let the girl be your guide as to how naughty you can be. You will find some like to dip their toes and some their whole body - but going to the whole body part straight off the bat is not a good idea. And as UJ and ZzeusS say you never know who you are really talking to so take care. Miss P

Valentine's comin up!!! Found some great couple spots. I'm sure all of you have found your own too. Post them here and share! (or don't share, you might lose your romance spot) LOL!!! Here's one for ya....if you go to the west most point of monkey crater there is this tower. If you can get yourself to the top via hoverpack...you get a great view!! If you haven't found it yet, give me a holler, and I'll summon you there!!

See the full details in the announcement section. Pssstt....a good gift. One of those new Valentine shirts in There!! There are a few in the auction as well. Couple of us girls met a few cute newbies today!! So there is hope!! Giggle. That's where it is all at...giving newbies tips, teaching them...taking them on tour, that's the way to go to!! Instant buddy...and who knows what else!

Mackie and I were in the hot tub Friday night and started kissing. There were two other couples in there (don't know if they were already friends or not) that got in to it too. The camera kept switching back and forth, harps were playing, hearts and daggers flying  ... it was too funny.
Try out some of the emotes in kiss mode - there are many that still work without breaking the kiss.

PETS!!! Like in RL.....Girls LOOOVVEEEEE dogs. They'll ask who they belong to, and want to pet them and give them treats...AND you can teach newbies about how you can say commands for dog tricks like jump!! Wink Wink.....I think we have a winner here! Hmmm...There should create a place just for dog owners....like a dog park....bring everyone's dogs together.....I think that would be hilarious....or whoever should just create an event for that LOL. I really wish we could do more especially leading up to valentine's, give flowers, hugs, holding someone etc. Chairs and Tables as in a romantic candlelit dinner would be nice. The love seat just doesnt cut it (except for macking out  ). I hope they will surprise us on Valentine's 
I know theres someone I've been dying to hold in There for a long while

I agree that they should have options. I doubt they will have anything ready by Tomorrow though. That would be cool if you could give flowers or a box of candy!!! Essentially it is same thing as 'hearts. If we can do one for 'flower or 'candy. That would be cool. We'll see.

TRUE!! One time it worked.....but not all the other times....I end up getting a kiss on the forehead or something!! Anyhoo...had a lovely chit chat with the girls in There. They are all in hiding! A big hint....cut it with the cheesy pick up lines and dirty talk. That is the most common complaint that I hear over and over again.

To be fair though there are girls in game who need to re-think the way they talk to guys off the bat. Just a couple of suggestions and ideas. Input always welcome.:)
If you're kinda shy about the whole kissing thing and haven't tried it, keep your eyes open for a kissing booth. BritneySpears had one on ValDay and I found it to be a great way to learn for the first time. Thanks Britney you were my first, but not my last that night.:)
Guys -BUY A LOVE SEAT. If you are having an intimate conversation, ask if she would like to sit for awhile. Other people can't butt in if you are sitting.
My approach is this...
I try to get to know her first.
If I meet a girl I like, and had fun with her, I let her know it. "hey, I really had fun tonight, we should get together again sometime"and/or "feel free to make me a buddy or IM me if you get bored"
You can tell allot by how she answers you.
Put some info in your Out of There profile about yourself. I get told "wow, i was just looking at your profile... " " You like to paint, me too" or something along that line more and more.
Just like in real life...
Know when to be aggressive and when not to be.
Be yourself, don't try to impress.
Be honest and friendly.
Keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything nice to say.
If it seems as though you've walked into a private conversation, apologize and excuse yourself.(you'll be surprised how many times people will ask you to stay)
Always complement people on how they look before you complement them on their clothing.(like" You look great, I love that outfit on you" is always better than "nice shirt")
Ok, thats all from me for now. Sorry this turned into a novel.:p
Oh and one more thing...If you come accross a guy named Techzen, just walk up and say "Hey I know you from Thereuniverse".:)
