Well despite many people's fears that another There Prom was to occur...the concert tonight was AWESOME!!! 
 Steadman played to 100's of avies!!
 For those of us lucky enought to get tickets to the concert, I have to say is was a BLAST!
 We listened to the music (heheh thro winamp) and danced like never before! 
 I hear the listening parties were a blast as well! Kudos to all the hosts!
 Hula rocked this event and There was totally prepared (we had a few test runs)
 Yes there were block heads but hey real life concerts are kinda like that too! 
 All and all THIS ROCKED!!!!!

Well unfortunately I wasn't able to make it into the concert in-world, but I did catch the real thing at There! I hope it was as cool IN There as it was AT There.
The band was really awesome, and seeing all the computers and band equipment together in one place was a really cool experience. I've attached just a few pics out of many...you can kind of see the setup. There was also a large projection from the band's perspective up on the wall. I'm sure there will be sites up soon with way more pics.
All in all it was a really cool concert, and Steadman did indeed ROCK!!! I'm gonna be buying their album as soon as I can. Hope everyone enjoyed it!!! Can't wait til the next one.

Here are some more screen shots of the Steadman concert. Unfortunately from where I was standing, I could only see 3 of their avatars clearly, but their performance was amazing.

After the event, I was honored to take a boat ride (captained by Brand of the Naked Cliff Diver's club), and to spend a little time with Russel Field (Drummer_Queen) and to captain a brief boat ride for David Walton (Tiger_Tiger) and Chris Murphy (Baby_Gravy) who partied with us at the Naked Cliff Diver's Club headquarters. [Ask Brand for more screen shots of this, I'm sure he has several].

Then I was thrilled when Russel wanted a kiss. I gladly obliged hehe. 
Russel was so cute, once we got liplocked he wasn't sure how to stop kissing. I wasn't about to tell him how!!  Oh, and he did 'tongue me while we were kissing. Where did he learn how to do that??!!

Thanks to everyone posting screenshots here! It was an awesome concert!
BIG SHOUTOUT to Hula, Taura, and everyone else involved in making this happen! I can't even begin to imagine all the hard work and hours behind the scenes to bring this all together for all of us to enjoy!
BIG SHOUTOUT to Matty for the awesome real live photos of the band and a cool behind the scenes photo of what was really happening at the studio! Woohoooo!!! Thanks, Matty! Quick question though: the people at the computers.... were they the ones maneuvering the band's avatars during the concert?
This is just the beginning, I imagine, of more treats to come in the future! So anyway, thanks to everyone who made this happen!!!

Indeed, the show was great... next one will be better and so on down the line.. but yes KUDOS to all who made this a great event!! Even the listening parties were fun... I had a few ppl struggling to get it on so I streamed it thru Mackie Radio and I think that helped some... Hope so anyway. I peeked at the concert going on on UncleJohns puter and it looked cool!
Way to go There! Way to go Steadman!

Yes, I echo the shoutouts to Taura and Hula. Also, BIG SHOUTOUT to Oli for the BIG SHOUTOUT! Also, props go to Steadman, the band, for an awesome show.
Yes, the monitors you see in the back were real people maneuvering the band's avatars while the band played. Hope that doesn't take away some of the "magic" but I can't imagine that people thought the band was playing AND controlling their avatars at the same time. Now THAT would be amazing. But yes, these weren't bots or anything.
The guys did play around as their avatars in There after the show, though. How cool is that?!

I too was struck by Steadmania in a big way! I had a blast meeting most of the band members. I really enjoyed the music. So much so that I am going to download the album from the iTunes store at the beginning of next month.
Also I still need more screenshots of the concert and afterwards for the music video I have been shooting. If you have any more please post them!

I had wondered if the music was canned and the band members were running their Avies. But, the way it was done seems like the best way to do it. Thanks for that bit of info Matty!

It was a very cool event, and you guys did a great job organizing it. Thanks for all your hard work. The band sounded fantastic, and Matty- the RL pics rock!
I'm still gathering up my screenshots, but I think Ladie_Di's are a lot more interesting! You go girl!
