I vote hours of operation!  I'm not sure if THERE is completely done with the testing days but 8 hours for maintenance?  And I'm in the East so it gives me less time on than those elsewhere.  Every few weeks the hours closed either decreases greatly...'YAY but then sometimes it's closed for far too many hours. ***************************************************

I chose time there responds to issues because if they responded quicker the rest wouldn't even be issues any more. Sin like you mean it!

Hmmm.. ya know.. I think what I would want to fix first isn't listed...
COMMUNICATION

We all know the issues.. we all know this might as well be beta, officially or not.. From the people I have met on the boards and in-world.. I believe our frustrations are more from not being informed than anything else. If they come out and tell us what they are doing, where the repairs stand, that hey.. we only so many programmers here and can only tackle this many issues at once..currently we are working on this.. here is our projected order of trying to get to stuff.. etc etc.. well.. *shrug* Once I know they are truly listening and trying to fix it, I calm down. It is when we receive zero response and no communication about an issue that I get wound up. :D A naive girl can be infatuated with a knight,

I chose hours too.I am in EST and frankly I think opening at 2pm is a crock! I want to be able to play when I get the time to and not have to wait for it to open.Other online games are open 24 hrs a day atleast ones that I have played anyways.Once the time issue is addressed we can work on some other issues such as prices we pay for every little thing and items allowed in PAZs etc etc etc. :p

At first I chose hours of operation.. at the very least There should be open all weekend!!

But then I saw paz item limit.. and being a decorator at heart I switched my vote.  Why in the world doesn't a large paz have a larger object limit than a medium size paz?? Come on! 30 items is barely enough to get a good structure going, and I'd really like to be able to use individual seating, but with the limits I pretty much have to stick with group seating.

Damn, damn, and damn again!!!! When life hands you lemons, stick them in your bra---it couldn't hurt, it might help!

I hate individual seating since two adjacent chairs are not in the same conversation group.  You can do some nice decorating, but I am more concerned with reading bubbles.  Maybe you use VC, and then it is not a problem!

I voted for Fixin the Skills.  My Socializer Skills have not moved in over a month and it really pi$$es me off!  I work days, so the hours don't really bother me. I don't build big stuff in my paz, so that is not a big deal either. BOINCer, but you may call me Bo

I agree with the weekend thing Athena Pointed out.

The  things i want to do on a Saturday/sunday morning  is #1 sleep and #2 get on There.

in eastern time it opens at 2...what a horrible time

i usually get up at 9 .. 5 hours of boredom 'doh

i usually do photoshop then, but 5 hours of PS will get tiring as well

i can guarantee that eventually and possibly very soon, There will have 24hr operation.  with this in mind i voted for the somewhat-infantile economy.  definitely needs some work. "I'll take your best shot."

I voted for hours of operation - I'm on the east coast too and would much rather have it open 24 hours.  Jackson, can you explain what you'd like to see the economy become?  I don't really understand what direction it needs to move in.

I wish I could have voted for Hours too but I voted for object limits in PAZ. I like my paz I just wish I could add more than 30 objects, 75-100 is more reasonable. You'll never live if you look for the meaning of life.

Would be nice though, if they would put out some info on what they are fixing, what is planned to be fixed in the future and so on, but they don't. "Man it's dark in here!"

This is just something I was thinking, it's not a rant or anything.  I would like to see There implement the economy as a legitimate part of the gameplay, and not just a money-making scheme for the corporation.  Currently it reeks of a ripoff, but it's voluntary so I'm not complaining about that.  What I'd really like to see is legitimate investment opportunities (and I don't consider paying a submission fee to be an investment). Right now, the only thing you can do with your T is spend; and your assets neither depreciate nor appreciate in actual value.  So as a new player all you can do is spend more real money, or wait for the next survey.  And ultimately, you will just buy more stuff which won't be of any financial value to you, so you'll either have to spend more real money, or just don't buy anything... and where's the fun in that? "I'll take your best shot."

Hmmm hard to decide :p

I think i would change the hours of operation since I'm addicted to There  :grinno: and the pz limit.
But i would also change something else, it's not such a big issue tho  i would like them to fix the chat text color bug, it's a bit annoying to choose it everytime i log in the game :satisfied:

my vote is on laaaaaaag.  i know that not all lag is a there-originated issue, but there are some areas that makes my DSL connexion respond like 28.8.  the housing shortage is another issue that would be nice to see addressed.  however, even that would be dependent, at least in part, on fixing the lag issue.

cheers,

There needs to take more time with the user's problems. Geeze,I gave them an honest to goodness story that made me cry the entire time I was writing in into an e-mail to There Help and STILL NO REPLY?

They're doing this on purpose,I bet. Just because I'm under 13 doesn't mean I should be TREATED like this!

Levi_Jones had to break the news...

There's an EIGHT YEAR OLD player in-world for G0D's sakes! Why didn't they just ban their account!

Oh,and they really should've put a disclaimer on their beta tester "lifetime membership" deal. When I want to be in There for the rest of my life by paying $30.00 of my mother's money,I MEAN IT!

Sorry, the answer isn't up there. The thing There should do is FIX THE !@#$ BUGS!

There are bugs in paintball, bugs in racetracks, bugs in stages, bugs in stereos...
:wtf:
You can't do anything these days except chat and drive around without running into a major bug that ruins the There experience!

wow..  I voted for lag.. as an avid boarder, lag ruins all my vehicle experience and makes crownded situations and voicing/music often a disaster..

I'm VERY surprised what seemed to be the obvious answer, was not clearly the the ranking winner..  Perhaps There's attention is focused on the wrong thing :O  (tho, they seemed to have little progress in the lag issue given tha is their #1 priority)  Perhaps they can divert more attention to these other problems people here have marked as equally important if not more so.. and most of those are problems they can fix more permanently and quickly than the enormous lag problem.  Just some user feedback and some creative problem solving within the system can fix half of those issues..

[shocker: Housing.. got ZERO votes?!  This was such a major point of vocal outrage weeks ago.. and we are all still paying ridiculous rent increases O_o  Yet not one of people surveyed thought it was a problem worth fixing.. wow, I guess There knew we'd cave eventually on that one.] c5studio
