***ATTENTION NEWBIES***
The following types of posts may be deleted or locked immediately without notice:
- DO NOT ASK FOR A REFERRAL to There in topics on these forums.
- DO NOT ASK how long it takes to get into There (or any similar question).  The answer to that is Tip #5 (under "General") below.

I will use this thread to compile all the major known tips and answers to FAQs about There.  Did I miss anything, or are my facts in error?  Let me know in this thread and I will organize everything into the proper place, thank you.

HOVERBOARDS:

- < official instructions >

Types:  Currently there are three categories of boards, the Cruiser, Radical and the Freestyle.  The Cruiser is slower, less responsive, cheaper, and has some different tricks in comparison to the Radical board.  The Freestyle seems to be faster than the Cruiser but slower than the Radical [unconfirmed], but appears to perform tricks faster and cooler than any other hoverboard. However, there is no performance difference between boards within each category, regardless of how different they are cosmetically or by price.  Races can only be set up to accept Cruisers OR Radicals OR Freestyle, thus Radicals cannot race with Cruisers etc. to keep things fair.

- < discussion on speeds of the hoverboards >

- Objects like trees, rocks, and bones make great ramps.  Before going over these objects or any steep incline, remember to crouch by holding down the jump button, and as you approach the incline/ramp/object hit turbo.  When you are about to come off the incline/ramp/object in to the air let off the jump buttom and start performing the tricks above. According to Dickie:  "You can combo tricks, and the full trick does not have to be performed before starting another one (which leads to neat looking stalls)".  I'm not really sure how that one works, but feel free to give it a try.

Hey Spliff I have had Newbies ask me if I have a list of where all the T.O.M's are and for a listing of all skill reward items that they can earn. I am sure they exist but I can't find them. Do you happen to know where this info is hidden? (Yes knowing me right out in plain sight somewhere) Sin like you mean it!
